Job Description
Hooters of America LLC is a renowned restaurant brand widely recognized for its commitment to providing a fun and welcoming dining experience. Established with the mission to "Make People Happy," Hooters focuses on delivering quality food and memorable customer service in a vibrant atmosphere. Known for its distinctive style, casual dining environment, and iconic branding, Hooters has successfully cultivated a loyal customer base spanning various demographics including families, business professionals, and casual diners. This hospitality chain operates numerous locations across the United States and internationally, each dedicated to maintaining high standards in food quality, customer service, and a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
The Hospitality Service Support position at Hooters is a dynamic and versatile role designed to enhance the overall guest experience. This role offers unique cross-training in three critical areas – Hosting, To-Go service, and Staff support – ensuring a well-rounded exposure to restaurant operations. As a Host, the employee is the first point of contact for customers, responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing seating arrangements efficiently to balance server workloads, and addressing the needs of diverse customer groups such as families with children and business clientele. The Host also must possess detailed knowledge of the menu and current specials to answer guest inquiries confidently and may also handle merchandise sales.
In the To-Go role, the associate manages orders through multiple channels including phone, online platforms, and delivery apps. This position demands precision and speed to guarantee order accuracy, proper packaging, and timely payment processing. Suggestive selling skills are also essential here to promote menu items effectively. The Staff role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant including the parking lot, front of the house, restrooms, and wait stations. This ensures that the physical environment reflects the high standards expected by guests and supports the overall ambiance of Hooters. Staff may also assist with stocking and bartending duties and perform food running responsibilities, demanding multitasking abilities to keep operations efficient.
Employees in the Hospitality Service Support position embody Hooters' core values: Show You Care, Elevate the Spirit, Respect Everyone, Value Feedback, and Exceed Expectations. These values guide every aspect of the customer interaction and restaurant maintenance, fostering a positive workplace culture and reinforcing brand integrity. Moreover, all applicants must be 17 or 18 years or older depending on local regulations, and must obtain required certifications like ServSafe alcohol certification when applicable before starting work.
This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills in customer service, food and beverage knowledge, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork. It is ideal for individuals seeking to build a career in the hospitality industry or those who enjoy engaging directly with guests to create memorable dining experiences. Hooters encourages workplace diversity and is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive environment where M/F/D/V are welcomed to apply. While training is provided, employees are not compensated for certification completion. The company offers a positive work environment where individuals who embrace the Hooters spirit of hospitality and professionalism can thrive and advance.
