Job Description

Vision Hospitality Group is a dynamic and entrepreneurial company dedicated to delivering exceptional hotel experiences across its portfolio of properties. Rooted in a culture of teamwork, diversity, and innovation, Vision Hospitality Group thrives on the collective efforts of its associates who bring their unique strengths to the table. The company is committed to continuous learning and growth, fostering an environment where creativity and hard work lead to success. By emphasizing community engagement and inclusivity, Vision Hospitality Group positions itself not only as a leader in the hospitality industry but also as an integral part of the communities it serves. The company’s philosophy encourages associates to embody an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence, ensuring top-tier service and operational standards are met consistently.

The role of Hospitality Renovation Manager is a key leadership position within Vision Hospitality Group, responsible for overseeing and managing hotel renovation and capital improvement projects across multiple properties. This is a full-time, on-site position, essential for ensuring that renovation projects align with brand standards, company goals, and budgetary constraints. The manager is charged with the end-to-end coordination of renovation activities including planning, budgeting, vendor management, scheduling, procurement, and execution. Given the complexity and scale of the portfolio, the Hospitality Renovation Manager must bring a hands-on approach, working closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve successful project outcomes. This position underscores the company’s "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy, promoting collaboration, problem-solving, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing renovation schedules and budgets, liaising with ownership groups, hotel management, contractors, architects, designers, engineers, and brand representatives to ensure project alignment and compliance. Regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and scope adherence are crucial aspects of the role, alongside managing vendor relationships through contract negotiations and performance assessments. The manager will also work collaboratively with Procurement, Operations, and Development teams to ensure timely procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and operational supplies.

Candidates for this role must have a strong background in hotel renovation, construction coordination, budgeting, and project management. A thorough understanding of local, state, federal, and brand requirements for construction and renovation is essential. The job demands strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to successfully manage multiple simultaneous projects at various stages. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management software is expected. Physical requirements include the ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds and remain focused in a busy office environment. This role also demands adaptability to diverse cultural backgrounds and excellent English communication skills.

Vision Hospitality Group offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health and wellness options, health reimbursement programs, 401(k) plans with matching, life insurance, employee assistance programs, and various incentives. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the company’s mission to be the best and most respected hotel company in America while advancing your career in hospitality project management.
