The Night Ambassador role at citizenM Miami is a multifaceted, engaging position ideal for dynamic individuals who thrive in a bustling, nighttime setting. Unlike conventional hotel roles boxed into receptionist or food service titles, this job embraces a wide spectrum of responsibilities, empowering you to shape the guest experience distinctly. As a night ambassador, you’ll wear many hats including champion multitasker, barista, mixologist, concierge, customer service expert, and problem solver. Your primary focus will be to ensure every guest receives a warm, welcoming experience from the moment they enter the lobby until the early morning hours, orchestrating operations seamlessly during overnight shifts.
Your role will also involve managing guest interactions at the self-check-in kiosks, as citizenM foregoes the traditional reception desk to encourage guest autonomy. Alongside greeting guests, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold meals, brewing exceptional coffee, mixing signature cocktails, and maintaining kitchen operations including dishwashing and food handling. You’ll be a secret concierge for guests new to Miami, offering insider tips on where to visit, dine, shop, and enjoy the local nightlife.
The role demands exceptional operational skills as you will be responsible for handling reservations using the property management system, performing the nightly audit, and overseeing the hotel’s night shift activities. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $23.85 and includes bonus potential based on team impact, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. The role requires flexibility with scheduling, as shifts run overnight from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, including weekends. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work overnight shifts from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am
- Availability to work weekends
- United States citizenship or appropriate work authorization
- Willingness to travel for training purposes
- Genuine empathy and care for guests and colleagues
- Problem-solving mindset
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Fluent in English
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of coffee brewing and cocktail mixing preferred
- Experience with property management systems is an advantage

Job Duties
- Making sure everyone gets a warm welcome as soon as they walk in
- Helping guests at the self check-in kiosks
- Preparing and serving hot and cold breakfast and meals
- Being a kitchen hero by dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, food handling and cooking
- Brewing delicious coffee or mixing a signature cocktail
- Acting as a secret concierge by answering guests' questions about the best places to visit, eat, shop or party
- Maintaining the living room and cleaning canteenM, and arranging food displays for the following shift
- Helping guests with any requests or demands regarding the facilities
- Handling reservations in the property management system including the daily night audit
- Holding the keys to the castle and being responsible for operations during the night shifts
- Taking care of guests including in emergency situations
