Job Description

Cox Enterprises is a renowned American privately held company committed to creating unique experiences that go beyond traditional business interactions. Known for its diversified portfolio including automotive, communications, and media services, Cox Enterprises stands at the forefront of innovation, consistently delivering exceptional value and memorable moments to its clients and partners. The company prides itself on building meaningful business relationships that are often formed in extraordinary settings beyond the conventional conference rooms and office environments. These encounters are crafted to be once-in-a-lifetime moments that leave lasting impressions, creating emotional connections that go beyond standard professional exchanges.

The role of Manager, Hospitality Marketing at Cox Enterprises is a pivotal position that focuses on overseeing the execution and operational excellence of premier experiential marketing and hospitality programs. This position is responsible for bringing to life some of the company’s highest-profile programs, including marquee events such as The Masters tournament, IndyCar/NASCAR races, and the Super Bowl, along with exclusive client engagement trips, concerts, and premium experiences. These initiatives not only showcase Cox Enterprises’ brand but also foster deep connections with clients through thoughtfully curated, high-touch experiences.

In this role, you will lead every aspect of hospitality experiences, managing the entire project lifecycle from planning and site selection to contract negotiations and on-site logistics. The Manager will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors to ensure that every event detail—from premium ticketing and suite hosting to travel arrangements and entertainment—is impeccably executed with a “white-glove” attention to detail. Close collaboration with sales and marketing teams is essential to align event strategies with broader corporate objectives, ensuring that each event strengthens relationships and drives tangible business impact.

The Manager will also oversee budgets, track expenditures, and maintain brand standards while managing a hospitality specialist to ensure high-quality work and professional growth within the team. This role demands strong written and verbal communication skills, a disciplined project management ability, and the capacity to confidently interact with senior leaders and high-value clients. Flexibility to travel up to 50% and work evenings or weekends as needed is also required.

The compensation for this role ranges from $92,300 to $153,900 annually, taking into account factors such as location, experience, and skills. Additionally, the position may be eligible for incentive programs that provide further financial rewards. Qualified candidates bring a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of progressive experience in hospitality marketing or event management, or alternatively, a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience with no degree.

Cox Enterprises offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes flexible paid vacation, seven paid holidays annually, up to 160 hours of paid wellness time for personal or family needs, and additional paid time off for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteering, military service, and parental leave. This inclusive and supportive environment ensures that employees are well cared for and empowered to deliver exceptional experiences.

If you are passionate about crafting unforgettable moments and excel at managing complex, high-profile events that drive business success, the Manager, Hospitality Marketing role at Cox Enterprises is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to creating extraordinary experiences that resonate.
