Job Description

Target Hospitality is a premier provider of specialty rental and hospitality services focused on delivering comprehensive workforce housing, culinary, and facility management solutions tailored for remote and challenging environments across North America. With an emphasis on building not just accommodations but vibrant communities, Target Hospitality is deeply committed to fostering an exceptional employee experience as the foundation of an outstanding guest experience. This dedication is evident in their investment in people, ensuring that team members are supported, developed, and valued in a dynamic and often demanding work environment. The company operates in a niche sector where attention to safety, operational excellence, and customer service are paramount, particularly in specialized lodging settings such as remote camps and lodges. As a hospitality manager at Target Hospitality, you will be integral in managing the total operation of an assigned lodge. This includes overseeing guest experience, culinary services, housekeeping, front desk operations, maintenance, and safety performance. You will be responsible for occupancy reporting, budgeting, and the development and leadership of an on-site team. This salaried, exempt level role reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager and requires a proactive approach to operational management, team leadership, and problem-solving.

In your role as Hospitality Manager, you will be accountable for fostering and maintaining a strict safety culture in alignment with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and policies. You will oversee daily lodge operations to ensure all departments adhere to Target Hospitality's rigorous standards for service quality, cleanliness, food safety, and facility upkeep. Your leadership will extend to scheduling, coaching, and developing department heads, including head chefs, head housekeepers, maintenance supervisors, and front desk teams. Collaboration with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources on staffing, onboarding, performance management, and corrective action is also a key responsibility. Guest interaction is important in this role, as you will be the primary on-site point of contact for guest concerns, service recovery, and liaison with client representatives. Managing budgets for labor, food, and purchasing while explaining any variances to regional leadership forms part of your financial stewardship duties. Daily reviews of occupancy, reservations, and meal counts to align staffing and production, ensuring both efficiency and guest satisfaction, will be critically important. You will work closely with accounting to guarantee accurate billing and maintain current accounts receivable data. Regular departmental meetings and operational briefings will support team cohesion and operational transparency. You will lead health and safety meetings, conduct incident reporting, and oversee emergency response protocols. Ensuring compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP and FIFO, and completing scheduled inspections, audits, and corrective actions, reflects the detail-oriented nature of the position. Preventative maintenance planning and prompt escalation of repair needs will ensure the lodge remains in optimal condition. As a communications hub, you will liaise consistently with regional leadership, corporate departments, and client contacts through company systems and Microsoft Outlook. Additionally, you will be expected to step in and contribute hands-on across departments as business demands require, demonstrating versatility and commitment. This role demands resilience to meet physical requirements such as extended periods of walking and standing, maneuvering heavy carts, and working in extreme weather conditions typical of remote lodge environments. Adaptability while working rotating schedules and readiness for on-call duties for emergencies are also essential. Target Hospitality offers competitive compensation reflective of skills and responsibilities with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support its workforce both professionally and personally.
