Job Description
Landing is a pioneering company in the flexible living space, having established the largest flexible living network in the United States since its inception in 2019. Operating in over 35 markets with thousands of apartments, Landing stands out in the real estate and hospitality industry by removing barriers such as deposits and hassle, making flexible living accessible and convenient for its members. The company's rapid growth and extensive network demonstrate its leadership and innovation in reshaping how people experience short-term housing, combining technology and hospitality to deliver superior customer satisfaction. Landing’s model is designed to accommodate the dynamic lifestyle of today’s renters, offering freedom and flexibility unmatched by traditional rental agreements. The organization fosters an environment where adaptability and responsiveness are essential due to its fast-paced nature and evolving priorities.
The role offered is a key market segment ownership position within Landing’s Cincinnati, OH market. This pivotal role involves comprehensive management of a segment of the company’s properties, which spans oversight of member experience, management of property and housekeeping vendors, maintenance coordination, and ensuring unit quality across the portfolio. The responsibilities include handling reservations from multiple sources such as Landing’s platform and online travel agencies like Airbnb and Booking.com, reinforcing the operational breadth of this role. A vital part of this position is building and maintaining strong relationships with property partners and promptly resolving member issues across varied communication channels. Additionally, this role is responsible for reporting market performance metrics to the Hub Manager and driving operational success.
Candidates with experience in hotel management, short-term rental portfolios, or high-volume hospitality will find this role familiar but challenging, as it expands the scope of responsibility to owning an entire market segment rather than a single property. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, exercises independent decision-making amidst incomplete information, and innovates by building and utilizing systems effectively. The scope of ownership includes reservation coordination, property and housekeeping vendor relationship management, performance tracking through key indicators like NPS and CSAT, and launching new properties within the segment.
The position's workload involves core business hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with necessary availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs. Peak periods may demand increased attention during high-volume check-ins and month-end operations. The compensation package is competitive, offering a base salary between $55,000 and $75,000, inclusive of a performance bonus, vehicle and cell stipends, stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, mental health support, and unique perks like travel credits for stays at Landing properties. Landing values internal growth, offering opportunities for upward mobility, and prides itself on an inclusive and equal opportunity employment environment, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds without discrimination.
