Job Description
Landing is a pioneering company that has established the largest flexible living network in the United States since its founding in 2019. Operating across more than 35 markets, Landing offers thousands of apartments with no deposits and minimal hassle, redefining flexible living and residential experiences for its members. As a fast-growing organization, Landing embraces the dynamic nature of the real estate and hospitality markets, adapting swiftly to evolving priorities and customer needs. The company’s innovative platform connects members to high-quality, flexible rental units, combining the ease of technology with top-notch customer service.
Landing is seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Market Segment Owner in the Fort Myers, FL market. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing the network's performance by managing a portfolio of properties within the market segment. Unlike traditional property management positions that focus on a single property, this role requires ownership over an entire market segment, encompassing member experience, property relationships, housekeeping vendors, maintenance coordination, and unit quality assurance. The Market Segment Owner will be responsible for overseeing reservations made directly through Landing’s platform, as well as through online travel agency (OTA) partners such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
The position requires a dynamic individual with experience in hotel operations, short-term rental management, or high-volume hospitality settings – essentially those who are familiar with fast-paced environments where customer satisfaction and operational efficiency are paramount. The incumbent will foster strong relationships with property partners, resolve issues among members using multiple communication channels, and consistently monitor and report on market performance metrics, including Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), and cleaning quality.
Key responsibilities include managing reservation systems across direct and third-party booking platforms, handling member interactions from booking through checkout, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams, onboarding and launching new properties, and implementing operational improvements as necessary. This role demands a service-oriented mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing urgencies effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will thrive in an environment characterized by ambiguity and rapid change, contributing to the ongoing refinement of Landing’s operational playbook and customer experience standards.
The work schedule primarily follows core business hours from Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with additional availability required during evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet guest-facing demands, especially during peak times such as month-end and busy check-in periods. Landing offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $55,000 to $75,000 annually, plus performance bonuses of up to 20% of base salary, along with a $6,600 vehicle and cell phone stipend. Stock options, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and mental health benefits further enrich the total rewards package. Employees also benefit from a 401(k) retirement plan, generous paid time off policies, commuter benefits, and an annual $750 travel credit to enjoy stays within the Landing network.
Landing values diversity and inclusion, emphasizing equal employment opportunities across all backgrounds without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status. The company promotes a supportive and growth-oriented culture, with many leadership roles filled through internal promotions, ensuring team members have ample opportunities for career advancement within the fast-expanding organization.
