Job Description

Landing is a pioneering company that has established the largest flexible living network across the United States since its inception in 2019. With its presence in over 35 markets and thousands of apartments available, Landing creates a seamless living experience that eliminates the traditional hassles often associated with rentals, such as security deposits and lengthy approval processes. This innovative company caters to a modern lifestyle by providing flexible stay options and prioritizing customer convenience, making it a leader in the flexible living industry. As a dynamic and fast-growing organization, Landing operates in a rapidly changing environment where priorities evolve quickly, offering an exciting and challenging workplace with no two days ever the same.

The role available is situated in Richmond, one of Landing's fastest expanding markets, where the team is growing to meet increasing demand. This position involves ownership of a segment of Landing's property portfolio, including managing the member experience, property partner relationships, housekeeping vendors, maintenance, and ensuring unit quality across all properties in the market segment. The role oversees reservations made both through Landing’s proprietary platform and third-party online travel agency (OTA) partners such as Airbnb and Booking.com. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with property partners, resolving member issues across multiple communication channels, and reporting market performance metrics to the Hub Manager.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in hotel operations, short-term rental management, vacation rental portfolio management, or running a high-volume hospitality operation, as the job demands effective multitasking and decision-making in fast-paced, guest-focused environments. This role offers the unique opportunity to own responsibility for an entire market segment rather than a single property, providing a pioneering leadership position where you contribute directly to the company's evolving operational strategies.

Success in this role requires adaptability, resilience, and a customer-centric mindset, as you will be making decisions with incomplete information while constantly developing and refining systems in a growth-stage company. The work schedule primarily covers core business hours Monday through Friday but requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak periods such as high-volume check-ins. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and driving superior guest experiences in the hospitality sector.

Landing also offers various benefits and incentives, including opportunities for career advancement, a competitive compensation package ranging from $55,000 to $75,000 base salary depending on experience, plus performance bonuses, and an annual vehicle and cell stipend. Employees can also participate in the company’s stock options program, ensuring that team members benefit from the company's growth. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, mental health, pet, commuter benefits, and FSA or HSA options. Additionally, retirement support through a 401(k) plan with ImmediatePay access and a generous paid time off policy ensures a healthy work-life balance. A travel perk of $750 annually for stays within the Landing network is an enticing bonus.

As an equal opportunity employer, Landing values diversity and inclusivity, welcoming all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or other legally protected characteristics. Joining Landing means becoming part of an innovative company shaping the future of flexible living while experiencing professional growth and contributing to exceptional guest experiences.
