Job Description
Landing is a pioneering company that has established the largest flexible living network in the United States since its inception in 2019. Operating in over 35 markets with thousands of apartments, Landing offers a seamless rental experience by eliminating deposits and minimizing hassle for its customers. This innovative approach to flexible living has positioned Landing as a leader in the property rental market, catering to individuals seeking convenient, flexible, and high-quality living spaces across the country. Their rapid growth highlights their commitment to customer satisfaction and the evolution of residential living standards through technology and excellent service. Landing's extensive market presence and operational scale make it a dynamic workplace where priorities can shift rapidly, and team members are expected to thrive in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and problem-solving are essential.
The role offered is a market segment ownership position based in the Orlando market. This position entails the comprehensive management of a portfolio of properties, ensuring an exceptional member experience and maintaining strong relationships with property owners, housekeeping vendors, and maintenance teams. As a segment owner, the successful candidate will oversee reservations made through Landing's proprietary platform, as well as influential online travel agencies such as Airbnb and Booking.com. Key responsibilities include not only managing reservations but also proactively addressing member issues across multiple communication channels, ensuring the quality and maintenance of units, and closely collaborating with partners involved in property upkeep. The role demands ownership of market performance metrics and delivering insightful reports to the Hub Manager to inform strategic decisions. Someone with a background in hotel operations, short-term rental management, or any high-volume hospitality setting will find familiarity in this fast-moving role. The job is unique because it involves managing entire market segments rather than individual properties, requiring a broader vision and an entrepreneurial mindset. The successful candidate will excel in dealing with ambiguity, making informed decisions swiftly with incomplete data, and building operational systems that evolve with the company. This role is perfect for a highly organized individual who thrives on customer service excellence, rapid decision-making, and operational scalability. The work schedule primarily covers Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage is necessary to meet the demands of a guest-facing hospitality role. Landing offers competitive compensation with a salary range between $55,000 and $75,000 annually, depending on experience, complemented by a performance bonus of up to 20% of base salary and a $6,600 annual vehicle and cell stipend. Additionally, employees receive stock options and a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other supportive perks like mental health services, commuter benefits, retirement plans, and generous paid time off. Landing is committed to equal employment opportunity and nurturing career growth within its expanding team.
