Job Description

Landing, established in 2019, has grown to become the largest flexible living network across the United States, operating in over 35 markets with thousands of apartments. Their approach to flexible living removes traditional barriers such as deposits, making it easier and less stressful for members to secure accommodations. Having rapidly expanded their footprint nationwide, Landing leverages a platform-driven model to provide seamless living experiences. Their dynamic operation requires agility and adaptability, as the pace is fast and priorities are continually shifting to meet the evolving needs of their members and partners.

The role at Landing is a unique market segment ownership position located within their Cincinnati, Ohio market segment. It involves end-to-end management of a segment of properties, with responsibilities that span the full member journey from booking through checkout and everything in between. The position requires managing the member experience, property and housekeeping vendor relationships, maintenance coordination, and unit quality control. In addition, the role oversees reservations originating from both Landing's own platform and major online travel agencies such as Airbnb and Booking.com. Reporting directly to the Hub Manager, the individual will be responsible for building strong relationships with property partners, resolving member issues across multiple communication channels, and ensuring the achievement of market performance goals.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in hotel operations, short-term rental management, or managing a vacation rental portfolio or high-volume hospitality setting. Unlike traditional property management roles that focus on a single property, this role empowers you to own an entire market segment with autonomy and influence over operational strategies. Landing is pioneering its operational playbook, giving the person in this role creative license to build and refine systems that enhance the overall efficiency and customer experience within their market.

Success in this role hinges on the ability to operate effectively in a high-velocity environment, make confident decisions even with incomplete information, and maintain a customer-first mindset amid complexity. The position demands strong organizational skills, the capacity to triage urgent issues effectively, and comfort working in an environment of ambiguity as a growth-stage company. Core business hours run Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, but additional availability during evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods is required, given the guest-facing nature of the role.

Landing offers competitive compensation with a base salary ranging from $55,000 to $75,000 depending on experience, plus a performance bonus of up to 20% of the base salary and an annual vehicle and cell stipend of $6,600. Employees benefit from stock options and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, mental health, pet, commuter benefits, and options for Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account. The company supports retirement through a 401(k) plan and access to ImmediatePay. They promote upward mobility within their field operations management team, which primarily consists of internal promotions. Additionally, they provide a generous paid time off policy and an annual travel perk valued at $750 in Landing stays. Landing is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring fair consideration for all applicants without regard to any protected characteristics under federal, state, or local laws.
