Job Description
The Wine Group is a prominent leader in the global wine industry, renowned for crafting and distributing a diverse portfolio of exceptional wines. Dedicated to quality and innovation, the company operates multiple winery locations throughout California, offering unique experiences that celebrate the art of winemaking and the rich heritage associated with it. The Wine Group values a collaborative and inclusive environment, fostering growth opportunities for its employees while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and brand integrity. As a company firmly rooted in the hospitality and wine sectors, The Wine Group strives to provide memorable experiences for wine enthusiasts and event guests alike.
We are currently seeking a part-time Hospitality Event Associate to join our talented team. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding guest experiences at various winery-hosted events, private tastings, wine club functions, and off-site activations. The Hospitality Event Associate will support the comprehensive planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of events across two winery locations. This position requires close collaboration with the Tasting Room teams to ensure seamless event operations that consistently reflect the winery's brand standards and hospitality philosophy.
The ideal candidate is service-oriented, dependable, and thrives in fast-paced, guest-facing environments. This blend of hands-on event support and direct guest interaction includes responsibilities such as wine service and operational assistance. While prior experience in hospitality, events, or the wine industry is preferred, what matters most is a strong customer-service mindset and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deepen one’s knowledge of wine and event management while engaging actively with guests and contributing to the success of high-quality hospitality events.
This position operates on a flexible, part-time schedule, often requiring availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays based on event needs. The compensation for this role includes an hourly pay rate of $20.00 per hour, with additional incentives, tips, and bonuses, recognizing the essential contributions made to event excellence and customer satisfaction. Joining The Wine Group means becoming part of a dynamic and respected hospitality team that values enthusiasm, professionalism, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences. If you enjoy an active role that combines customer service, event coordination, and learning about wine, the Hospitality Event Associate position offers a unique and rewarding career path.
