Job Description
Four Seasons is a prestigious luxury hospitality brand renowned worldwide for its commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. With properties across the globe, Four Seasons is consistently ranked among the top hotels and employers in the industry. The company embodies a service philosophy centered on respect, inclusivity, and dedication, fostering a culture where guests and employees alike feel valued and supported. As a global family of hospitality professionals, Four Seasons is dedicated to maintaining its reputation as a leader in the luxury hotel sector by integrating seamless service, innovative hospitality solutions, and personalized guest care.
The role of Hospitality Concierge of Rooms at Four Seasons Resort represents a unique career opportunity within this esteemed organization. This particular opening is part of a dynamic pre-opening team for a brand-new Four Seasons Resort located on Florida's exclusive Gulf Coast, a coastal destination poised to become a landmark in luxury travel. The Hospitality Concierge of Rooms will be integral to shaping the guest experience from the resort's inception, directly influencing service delivery, staff operations, and overall guest satisfaction. This leadership position encompasses oversight of multiple departments within the Rooms Division, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Services. The incumbent will act as a driving force in operational setup, team development, and implementation of industry-leading service standards tailored to this unique location.
In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the Hospitality Concierge of Rooms will serve as the acting Director of Rooms when the Department Head is unavailable, ensuring continuity of leadership and excellence. The role requires close collaboration with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Reservations, to optimize occupancy and revenue strategies. There is a strong emphasis on fostering an inclusive and positive work culture, supporting staff through rigorous training, mentoring, and performance management. This role also demands a hands-on approach to guest relations, especially for VIP arrivals and high-priority service issues, highlighting the critical nature of personal engagement in luxury hospitality.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in luxury hospitality leadership, ideally with Four Seasons or comparable five-star resort experience, and proven expertise in pre-opening operations. They must possess a robust understanding of hotel software systems, with knowledge of Opera PMS considered an asset, and demonstrate financial acumen related to labor and supply cost management. Flexibility in work shifts, including availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential to meet the demands of this high-profile position.
This role offers a competitive salary along with an attractive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, complimentary stays worldwide, and numerous wellness and professional development programs. Beyond compensation, this position offers the rare chance to contribute to the launch of a flagship Four Seasons resort, joining a world-class organization committed to upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality and guest service excellence.
