Job Description
Four Seasons is a renowned luxury hospitality brand recognized worldwide for its commitment to excellence, impeccable service, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. With prestigious properties across the globe, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts consistently ranks among the top hospitality companies, known not only for their luxurious accommodations and amenities but also for fostering a culture that values respect, diversity, and inclusion. The company’s philosophy centers on treating every individual — whether guest, colleague, or partner — with utmost care and consideration, underpinning its reputation as both an exceptional employer and an elite hotel group.
This specific opportunity is to be part of a new Four Seasons Resort located on Florida's Gulf Coast, a breathtaking coastal destination that brings together the timeless luxury synonymous with Four Seasons and the unique cultural soul of Southwest Florida. This isn't just another role; it is a rare pre-opening position that places you at the heart of launching a flagship resort from the ground up. Joining this dynamic team means contributing to setting service standards, crafting seamless operational systems, and shaping a vibrant team culture that will define the guest journey for years to come.
The Hospitality Concierge of Rooms serves a pivotal leadership function within the resort. This role oversees the entire Rooms Division, encompassing Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Services departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence by managing day-to-day activities, supporting pre-opening procedures, and maintaining the gold standard of Four Seasons hospitality throughout every guest interaction. They are expected to be a proactive leader who not only upholds and surpasses established service protocols but also inspires and mentors their team to perform at the highest level.
Beyond operational oversight, this role demands strategic collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to optimize occupancy rates and maximize revenue streams. The Hospitality Concierge of Rooms acts as a vital communication bridge across departments, ensuring that guest preferences and information flow seamlessly to enhance personalized service delivery. On top of fostering an exceptional guest experience, they carry the responsibility of cultivating an engaging and inclusive workplace environment, where staff development, mentoring, and performance management are prioritized.
This position also carries high accountability in handling complex guest issues, VIP arrivals, and special requests with diplomacy and a hands-on approach. Financial stewardship is essential, with duties that include managing labor and supply costs effectively to support the resort’s profit goals. As a senior operational leader, the Hospitality Concierge of Rooms is expected to step in as the acting Director of Rooms when needed and take charge during critical operational periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
For the right candidate, this role represents a unique intersection of operational leadership, guest service excellence, and team development within one of the most iconic luxury hotels in the world. With a competitive salary paired with annual incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and the chance to work in an inspiring environment known for its commitment to wellbeing and career growth, this is an exceptional career opportunity in luxury hospitality.
