Job Description

Foley Family Wines & Spirits is a renowned leader in the wine industry, established in the lush and fertile Sta. Rita Hills region of Santa Barbara County. Since its inception in 1996 when Bill and Carol Foley purchased 1,000 acres of prime vineyard land, the company has grown exponentially to become one of the world’s largest and most esteemed producers of fine wine. Foley Family Wines & Spirits encompasses a diverse portfolio of celebrated wineries, including notable names such as Chalk Hill Estate, Chalone, Ferrari-Carano, and Sebastiani. These wineries are situated in premier winemaking regions, including Napa, Sonoma, the Pacific Northwest, and New Zealand, ensuring a rich and varied selection for wine enthusiasts around the globe.

Foley Family Wines & Spirits prides itself on its commitment to quality, integrity, and a community-driven approach, fostering teamwork and entrepreneurship along with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. The company values innovation while honoring tradition and aims to enhance the overall wine experience from grape to glass.

We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic individual to join our team as a Hospitality Center Support member. This temporary, hourly position at $21.00/hour offers an excellent opportunity to break into the wine industry within a dynamic and supportive team environment. The Hospitality Center Support role is pivotal to the winery’s guest experience, serving as a reliable and friendly face that helps ensure each visitor receives service that exceeds their expectations.

This position involves actively engaging with guests visiting the tasting room, supporting the tasting room staff, and assisting in maintaining a welcoming and orderly hospitality environment. Your responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, providing attentive service throughout their visit, and supporting various operational activities like cleaning, restocking, and managing reservations.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service. The ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting. Moreover, having a knowledge or eagerness to learn about wines and the winery’s offerings will greatly enrich the guest experience and complement your role.

This role not only offers a competitive wage but also the chance to grow knowledgeably within the wine industry, participate in special hospitality events, and become part of the rich heritage and values of Foley Family Wines & Spirits. Being part of our team means embracing core values like teamwork, commitment, quality, integrity, safety, entrepreneurship, and, importantly, having fun. If you want to contribute to delivering memorable guest experiences while expanding your skills and industry insight, this could be the perfect fit for you.
