Located at 2058 FM 2920, Spring, TX, KFC is currently looking for enthusiastic and people-oriented individuals to join the team as a Hospitality Captain. This role holds a key position in enhancing the guest experience by welcoming customers warmly, assisting them with orders, and ensuring that the dining area remains clean and inviting. The Hospitality Captain acts as the friendly face representing KFC’s dedication to hospitality and customer satisfaction. The Hospitality Captain is responsible for managing self-service kiosks and supporting customers with order placement, including guiding them in using the KFC App for a seamless digital ordering experience. A key duty involves ensuring the accuracy of digital orders and handling any customer issues professionally and efficiently. Additionally, this role requires maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby and restrooms, organizing condiments, and facilitating smooth meal pick-ups for delivery drivers and guests. The Hospitality Captain plays a vital role in encouraging customers to engage with KFC through digital platforms such as Google Reviews, enhancing the restaurant’s online reputation and customer feedback.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills
  • Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 50 lbs from one area to another)
  • Attendance and punctuality a must
  • Operating of cash register as needed and making change for other cashiers

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and help them place orders using self-service kiosks
  • Interaction with customers: receiving orders, processing sales and monies and managing customer issues
  • Promote and assist guests with downloading and using the KFC App
  • Double-check digital orders for accuracy before handing them to guests
  • Prepare and organize condiments for dine-in and digital orders
  • Maintain clean restrooms and complete shift checklists
  • Keep the lobby spotless and welcoming at all times
  • Manage trays - only one tray should remain in the lobby at a time
  • Support your teammates, assist delivery drivers and guests with pick-up orders
  • Handle guest questions or concerns with professionalism and care
  • Encourage guests to leave Google Reviews using the restaurant's QR code
