Job Requirements

California Food Handler Certification required within 30 days of hire
Ability to communicate clearly in English and understand written safety materials
Friendly, upbeat attitude and guest-first mindset
Physical ability to stand and walk most of the shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Previous hospitality or food and beverage experience is a plus but not required
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to communicate clearly in English and understand written safety materials

Job Duties

Greet every guest with a smile and a friendly hello within 45 seconds of arrival
Serve up personalized, attentive service that makes guests feel like VIPs
Set up and maintain a clean, visually appealing breakfast or social hour area
Check food for proper appearance, portion, and temperature, ensuring it is always guest-ready
Clear tables, wipe spills, and keep public areas clean and inviting
Handle food safely and follow all sanitation procedures in line with California health regulations
Breakdown and clean the service area, return reusable food items to storage, and sanitize counters, floors, equipment, and utensils per hotel and CAL OSHA standards
Respond quickly and kindly to guest requests, questions, or concerns
