- high school diploma or its equivalent
- food handler's permit
- customer service experience required
- hotel/housing experience preferred
- able to stand and walk for multiple hours
- able to lift up to 25lbs
- successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training within the first year

Job Duties
- approach all encounter with guests and employees in a welcoming manner
- thoroughly clean and restock accommodations
- restock janitorial supplies throughout campus
- launder bedding, towels, linens
- complete janitorial tasks as assigned such as mopping and trash removal
- clean and restock conference rooms
- assist kitchen staff with serving food and in dish room
- greet all persons in a welcoming manner
- take orders accurately
- prepare specialty drinks and food items
- follow visitor safety procedures by logging campus guests and provide visitor badges as required
- follow food safety protocols
- maintain temperature logs and waste logs
- maintain cleanliness of cafe through completing daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- accurately complete weekly inventory
- perform additional duties as assigned to support the hospitality team and overall operations
- must be able to stand/walk for multiple hours
- lift up to 25lbs
