We are excited to offer the opportunity for a highly motivated medical professional to join Mercy Medical Center as the Hospitalist Program Medical Director. This leadership role combines clinical responsibilities with program oversight, integrating patient care with administrative duties. The position reports to the leadership team at Sound Physicians, who have partnered with Mercy Medical Center since 2015, supporting initiatives that enhance hospital-wide clinical operations.

As Medical Director, you will lead a close-knit team of 14 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers, administering care with a patient-first approach alongside dedicated nurses and hospital specialists. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining high standards of care delivery, driving quality improvement efforts, and fostering an environment of collaboration and advancement among providers. The role offers a careful balance between clinical shifts and protected administrative time, providing the flexibility to influence the program's strategy while practicing medicine.
