Currently, we are excited to invite enthusiastic individuals to join us as Hospital Valets, an essential role that acts as the first point of contact for our guests. This part-time position, with weekday shifts from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, offers an hourly wage of $18.00-$19.00 including tips, making it a unique opportunity for those seeking a rewarding job with a flexible schedule. The Hospital Valet's responsibilities extend beyond parking and retrieving vehicles; valets provide a warm and friendly greeting, assist with directions inside the hospital, and anticipate the needs of guests to ensure an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.
The ideal candidate for this role is customer-service oriented, professional, and personable, capable of engaging positively with a diverse population. We particularly welcome bilingual candidates who speak both English and Spanish, given our commitment to serving the Hispanic community effectively. This role requires a clean driving record and the ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and occasionally assisting guests in wheelchairs. Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- 3 years of continuous Driver's License experience
- License must be continuous with no suspensions or expirations within 3 years
- No more than 2 minor moving violations within the last 3 years
- No major moving violations within the last 3 years
- No alcohol or drug-related violations within the last 3 years
- Positive teamwork mindset and great communication skills
- Clean-cut appearance
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record capable of passing a driving test
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to walk, stand, and jog for an 8-hour shift
- Tolerance for inclement weather
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs for short periods
- Ability to push a wheelchair with a guest in it
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Valid Driver's License with 3 years continuous driving history
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive teamwork mindset
- Ability to work part-time weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile
- Assist guests in parking and retrieving their vehicles
- Provide directions and information to guests within the hospital
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs to create a positive experience
- Maintain professionalism and a clean-cut appearance
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Assist guests with mobility support, including pushing wheelchairs
