The Guest Service Associate position at Towne Park is essential in ensuring that guests receive outstanding hospitality with every interaction. This role is designed for individuals who are friendly, attentive, and efficient in managing guest needs and vehicle services. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles safely and promptly, assisting guests with their luggage, and offering helpful information about facility amenities and local attractions. It is a dynamic role that combines customer service, operational efficiency, and safety consciousness.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $13 to $14, with additional tips between $5 and $10 per hour. The work schedule is set for Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing a reliable part-time opportunity for those seeking consistent hours. Additionally, the role includes assisting guests with directions, transportation, luggage handling, and providing timely delivery of messages and amenities.

Working outdoors for most of the shift, the Guest Service Associate must be prepared to handle various weather conditions and be physically capable of performing tasks that may require lifting up to 100 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Ability to present information effectively
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Availability to work Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math operations using American money units
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
