Job Description
The Guest Service Associate role with Towne Park is designed for individuals who excel in hospitality, customer service, and operational safety. As a Guest Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for ensuring they receive a warm welcome along with prompt, courteous assistance throughout their visit. This position involves parking and retrieving guest vehicles carefully and efficiently while ensuring all safety protocols are observed to prevent any damage or incidents. You will assist guests with luggage handling during arrivals and departures, enhancing the overall customer experience by demonstrating attentiveness and genuine hospitality. The role demands professional interaction skills, including greeting guests with respect and friendliness, using guest names where appropriate, and providing accurate information regarding parking rates, procedures, and local amenities. Emphasis is placed on attention to detail, such as maintaining accurate ticketing records and managing claim checks responsibly to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Physical stamina is important as the job requires extended periods of standing, walking, and sometimes running to shuttle guests or deliver items. You will also be expected to perform related duties such as managing guest inquiries about directions, taxi services, and local attractions, delivering messages or amenities, and supporting bell services. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors as exposure to various weather conditions is part of the role. Job Requirements

- valid driver’s license
- one month related experience or training
- ability to provide customer and personal services
- ability to read, write and comprehend English
- ability to perform basic math operations
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time
- ability to understand parking rates
- ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is preferred
- ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work (as applicable)
- one (1) month related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English language
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
- uses guest last names during interactions
- uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
- practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
- shuttles guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location
- explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
- consistently completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
- consistently completes location on all key tags after parking vehicle
- calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
