The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional hospitality services while managing the logistics of guest vehicle parking and retrieval. This full-time position involves working Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, with an hourly base pay starting at $11.50 and total compensation including cash tips ranging from $16 to $20 per hour. The Guest Service Associate is tasked with greeting and assisting guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing bell services including luggage assistance, parking and retrieving vehicles safely, and managing all aspects of the valet ticketing and revenue collection process. Beyond typical guest interactions, the role requires presenting clear information about parking services, answering guest inquiries about local amenities, and occasionally providing shuttle services. Candidates for this position must be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions and meet physical demands including lifting and prolonged standing.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of customer and personal services principles
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Ability to present information effectively
- Ability to perform arithmetic operations relevant to the role
- Able to understand time and rate systems
- Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
- Physical ability to perform lifting up to 100 pounds
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 1:00pm to 9:00pm full-time
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to meet physical demands including prolonged standing and walking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division related to money and time
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates related to time
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and answer inquiries
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey, and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
