Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using American money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Availability for Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm full-time work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to work or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including money calculations
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
- Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
