Job Description

Parking Management Company (PMC) is a nationally recognized leader in hospitality-focused parking services, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Specializing in a range of parking management solutions including valet service, self-parking management, shuttle services, event parking, as well as porter and bell services, PMC operates across various industries such as hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues. PMC prides itself on delivering an exceptional guest experience, acting as an extension of their partners' hospitality offerings. The company emphasizes a guest-first mindset and seamless service, ensuring every interaction is professional and high-touch, positioning itself as a trusted partner within the hospitality industry. Beyond just parking services, PMC is heavily invested in cultivating a service culture that values excellence, safety, and attentiveness to both customers and team members.

The role of Valet Attendant at PMC is critical to maintaining the seamless guest experience the company is known for. This full-time or part-time non-exempt position involves delivering outstanding customer service by safely and efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles, acting as the first and last point of contact for guests. Valet Attendants must create a welcoming and professional atmosphere by greeting guests warmly, managing vehicle flow, and assisting with inquiries, all while adhering strictly to safety and operational protocols. This position requires the ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections, handle keys responsibly, and ensure compliance with company policies including attendance, timekeeping, and tip reporting. The Valet Attendant's duties also focus on maintaining cleanliness and organization in the valet area, working collaboratively with colleagues, and supporting the operational goals of PMC through adaptability and professionalism. Because this role demands stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions, the candidate must be prepared for outdoor environments, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods. Maintaining a neat uniform and professional demeanor is essential, as is the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of diverse hospitality operations.

PMC fosters a culture of pay transparency and equity and offers competitive hourly rates complemented by tip opportunities based on service performance and customer interactions. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package upon eligibility, including health benefits such as medical, vision, and dental insurance, 401K retirement plans, supplemental insurance options, and paid time off. Additional perks include internal leadership development programs, paid training, tuition assistance through Bellevue University, and nationwide employee discounts. PMC supports a safe and inclusive work environment and complies with Equal Employment Opportunity and the Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure all employees are treated fairly and respectfully. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy dynamic work environments, and are committed to delivering exceptional service quality in all interactions.
