The veterinarian role at Petco’s Vetco Total Care Full Service Veterinary Hospitals is a highly immersive position that puts quality care at the forefront. As a Vetco Total Care veterinarian, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient care including performing physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, and administering preventive treatments tailored to each patient's unique characteristics and lifestyle. You will apply a methodical problem-based approach to create thorough diagnostics and treatment plans. The job requires proficiency in routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, mass removals, and dental surgeries along with managing day hospitalization cases and coordinating with referral hospitals for continuity of care.

Beyond clinical responsibilities, veterinarians will actively participate in hospital rounds, share knowledge across the hospital team to elevate the quality of care, and engage in a collegial, professional manner to foster a positive work environment.
