The role of the Livewell Hospital Manager is critical to the launch, growth, and long-term success of our new veterinary hospitals. This position offers a unique and challenging opportunity to be part of building something extraordinary from the ground up. As a Hospital Manager, you will be the driving force behind establishing hospital culture, operational standards, and team dynamics that align with Livewell’s mission and vision. You will partner closely with the Founding Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and regional leadership to integrate medical and business strategies seamlessly.

Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum that includes building foundational hospital processes, driving local marketing efforts to increase community engagement, recruiting and developing a high-performing team, managing financial aspects such as profit and loss (P&L), labor costs, and inventory, and delivering an exceptional client experience. This role demands a mix of grit, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit, as you will navigate the complexities of launching a brand-new hospital while maintaining high standards in service and operations. The Hospital Manager position is not just about management; it is about creating a community cornerstone that embodies the values and excellence that Livewell stands for.

In addition to operational leadership, you will be responsible for instilling a strong sense of team culture, holding staff accountable to performance and behavioral expectations, and proactively addressing challenges to sustain operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Job Duties

  • Build the foundation by establishing hospital culture, standards, and expectations
  • Implement Livewell operational playbooks and align medical and business strategies with Founding DVM
  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies to drive community engagement and brand presence
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing team through interviewing and hiring for support roles
  • Manage P&L performance, labor costs, and inventory controls to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience by creating systems supporting hospitality and efficiency
  • Proactively resolve client concerns ensuring high-quality service
