The role available at Well Care is for a Sales Leader who will play a crucial part in expanding the agency's presence and enhancing its market share within the hospice care sector. The Sales Leader is responsible for increasing public awareness about the agency, leading sales teams, and developing effective sales strategies tailored to the healthcare environment. Daily responsibilities include engaging with vendors, clinicians, and executive-level contacts, representing the agency at various professional gatherings, and supporting the onboarding and development of a diverse sales team that includes Managers, Account Executives, and Transitional Care Liaisons. A significant part of the role involves analyzing data trends to guide strategic decisions, coaching sales managers to elevate their performance, and traveling extensively (50-75%) to build and nurture key business relationships.
In this position, the Sales Leader also collaborates closely with senior leadership to deploy specialty programs and quality assurance initiatives designed to improve hospice services. They ensure referral and admission goals are met or exceeded by guiding teams to success and maintaining operational excellence. The role demands exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, confidentiality, and a commitment to the agency’s mission, vision, and values. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate positive interpersonal relationships and promote a professional, supportive work environment. This is a full-time management position that requires a strategic thinker with at least two years of management experience, preferably with exposure to marketing, public relations, consulting, or sales in a healthcare or related field.

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social work, or nursing preferred
- Minimum of two years management experience
- Prior experience in marketing, public relations, consulting or sales preferred
- Current knowledge of fundamental home care and home health principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to speak clearly and effectively before small and large groups
- Ability to analyze data and develop marketing strategies
- Ability to teach and mentor staff
- Demonstrated problem solving and reasoning skills
Job Duties
