This position involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, primarily from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday shifts. The caregiver will perform essential patient care duties to aid patients and their families in managing daily activities and health needs with compassion and patience. Qualified candidates must be registered with the Ohio State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) Registry, holding a valid STNA certification, and have a minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing setting. Additional requirements include possessing a valid Ohio driver’s license with proof of automobile insurance coverage and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, to be obtained during orientation. Preferred certifications include Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Assistant (CHPNA) certification and prior home care experience, adding valuable skills to patient-centered care delivery.
