Job Description

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, a premier luxury hotel brand under Marriott International, is renowned for delivering bespoke and anticipatory service combined with classic sophistication and modern sensibility. Established with the opening of The St. Regis in New York by John Jacob Astor IV at the dawn of the twentieth century, this prestigious brand continues to uphold a tradition of timeless glamour and vanguard spirit. Operating more than 50 luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, St. Regis provides guests with exquisite experiences in some of the most desirable locations globally. As part of Marriott International’s portfolio, St. Regis benefits from an expansive global network and a work environment that values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity.

The role offered is a non-management, full-time position based in Washington, District of Columbia at the St. Regis hotel located at 923 16th & K St NW. The position offers a competitive pay range of $23.70 to $31.70 per hour and focuses on facilitating outstanding guest experiences through the management and replenishment of the in-room honor bar. This role is essential to the hotel's guest services, ensuring all in-room refreshments and accessories are maintained impeccably to meet the highest standards expected at a luxury property.

As an Honor Bar Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the St. Regis commitment to excellence in guest service. Your responsibilities will include inventorying the honor bar items, overseeing the presentation and cleanliness of each bar, and ensuring the availability of products while managing stock levels to prevent shortages. Utilization of software and handheld devices will be essential for sales recording and inventory tracking. You will also prepare and manage restocking carts to service rooms promptly and efficiently.

Beyond operational duties, this role demands a strong guest service orientation, with the ability to respond promptly to guests’ requests and communicate effectively with hotel management regarding honor bar operations. Adherence to company policies and safety procedures is paramount, including reporting accidents and participating in required safety training. Personal appearance and professionalism are equally important to maintain the brand’s luxurious image.

This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing or walking for extended periods, lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds, and navigating confined or elevated spaces. Working as part of a team, you will contribute to a positive work environment while supporting common goals and fostering respectful communication.

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is committed to equal employment opportunities, valuing diverse backgrounds and experiences as vital strengths. Employees are encouraged to grow and become the best version of themselves while contributing to unforgettable guest experiences. Joining St. Regis means becoming part of a globally recognized luxury brand with a commitment to excellence and a culture that nurtures talent and inclusivity.
