Job Description

Our establishment is a comfortable all-suite hotel located in Midland, Texas, right at the heart of the Permian Basin. Known for its strategic location between the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and El Paso, our hotel provides guests with easy access to major routes such as TX-191, the TX-250 loop, and I-20. We are conveniently near Midland International Airport and major industrial employers including Chevron and Occidental Petroleum, making us a preferred choice for business travelers and tourists alike. We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is fundamental to maintaining the high standards our guests expect from us. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be the behind-the-scenes hero who ensures every guest’s stay is spotless and comfortable. Your leadership will ensure the team runs daily operations smoothly, striving to exceed cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards. You will be the key support for the Housekeeping Manager, taking charge in their absence and ensuring seamless operations.

In this role, you will not just supervise but inspire and engage with the housekeeping team, including Room Attendants and House Attendants. Your responsibilities will include overseeing precise inspections, maintaining detailed reports, and conducting productivity checks to guarantee excellent service delivery. Safety and security are paramount as you handle lost-and-found items, maintain key control, and secure access to sensitive areas such as master keys and storage rooms. Your commitment to cleanliness helps set the bar high across all facilities and equipment, creating a welcoming, sanitary, and safe environment for all guests.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues like lost-and-found and key control
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College coursework in a related field is a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations with precision including inspections, reports, and productivity checks
  • Lead and inspire Room Attendants and House Attendants with clear communication and hands-on training
  • Handle lost-and-found items with care, maintain key control, and manage access to sensitive areas like master keys and storage rooms
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness across all facilities and equipment
  • Step in for the Housekeeping Manager as needed to ensure smooth operation
  • Monitor safety and security protocols within the housekeeping department
  • Coordinate with other departments as necessary to ensure quality guest experiences
