Job Description

Our extended stay hotel, located conveniently near downtown Columbia, is an inviting retreat for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. Situated between I-126 and Highway 176, just one mile from the Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Garden, our property offers guests easy access to some of Columbia's top attractions, including the University of South Carolina and the South Carolina State House, both within a four-mile radius. Our guests love to take advantage of our well-equipped in-suite kitchens, complimentary hot breakfast, and evening social events held Monday through Thursday. Additionally, our fitness center gives guests a perfect place to rejuvenate during their stay.

As a Housekeeper, you play an essential role in the smooth operation of our hotel and the overall guest experience. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that every guest room and public area is spotless and welcoming. You will transform guest rooms into immaculate sanctuaries by making fresh beds with crisp linens, cleaning and dusting all surfaces, and restocking necessary supplies to ensure guests feel right at home. Beyond daily cleaning, the role also involves deep cleaning tasks such as swapping air conditioning filters and performing minor maintenance like touch-up painting to keep the property looking its best.

You will serve as the hotel’s safety guardian by maintaining vigilance over guest areas to help ensure a safe and secure environment. Practicing safe work habits is critical not only for your well-being but also for the welfare of your teammates and our guests. Providing excellent customer service is a hallmark of this role. As a Housekeeper, your friendly and approachable demeanor will leave a lasting impression on guests, making their stay more enjoyable. Greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their requests are key aspects of the job.
