The Field Sales Account Executive role at Homes.com, based in Arlington, VA, offers an exciting opportunity for an energetic sales professional to contribute to this growth by driving sales within a specified territory. This full-time position demands strong interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with real estate agents. The Account Executive will be responsible for increasing brand visibility and awareness of the Homes.com membership product, maximizing sales growth, and ensuring customer loyalty. This role requires regular travel within the local territory to engage clients through in-person meetings, trade shows, and industry events, providing product demonstrations and sharing educational materials that highlight the benefits of Homes.com offerings.

In this role, the successful candidate will be the critical connection between the Homes.com sales team and its customers, tasked with generating excitement and fostering interest in the products. The Field Sales Account Executive will use their sales expertise to build a robust pipeline, forecast sales accurately, and deliver compelling presentations both onsite and remotely. Collaboration with internal teams and ongoing participation in training sessions will ensure that the Account Executive remains well-informed about product updates and brand strategies, reinforcing a consistent marketing message. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person University or College
  • 3+ years experience in sales or account management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Web Enterprise, Salesforce, Gong)
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently
  • Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license
  • Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the real estate industry preferred
  • Passion for sales and achieving goals preferred
  • Effective internal relationship building skills (superiors, peers, teams, company-wide) and externally (sales channels, customers, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company preferred

Job Duties

  • Engage with real estate agents via in-office meetings, trade shows, and local industry events with an outgoing and professional manner to answer questions, provide product information, and demonstrate products
  • Generate excitement and interest in the Homes.com products, develop effective customer relationships to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business
  • Provide product information and deliver educational material, complete demonstrations of the product and benefits of becoming a Homes.com member
  • Build a pipeline of business, repeat opportunities
  • Accurately forecast weekly, monthly sales pipeline
  • Make sales and technical presentations to potential customers, via both on-site presentations and web presentations, as required
  • Report to Sales Manager with sales progress and pipeline
  • Attend sales meetings, conference calls and training sessions to stay abreast of new product features and benefits and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
  • Build positive trusting relationships with real estate agents to influence the close of sales deals
  • Travel 80 percent within your local territory
