Job Requirements
- Home Health Aide training completion and competency evaluation
- Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Effective reading and writing skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Ability to pass AHCA Level 2 background screening
- Reliable transportation if required by position
Job Qualifications
- Successfully completed a Home Health Aide training program and competency evaluation as required by Medicare Conditions of Participation
- Demonstrates a compassionate and caring attitude toward the sick and elderly
- Ability to follow directions, read, and write effectively to carry out assigned tasks
Job Duties
- Provide personal care, bathing, and hands-on care as outlined in the patient’s plan of care
- Complete visit records promptly and accurately according to Agency policy
- Report any changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising RN
- Perform essential household tasks to support health care in the home as assigned
- Assist patients with ambulation and exercises as directed by the care plan
