Seniors Helping Seniors - Central East Florida is a reputable non-medical senior care organization committed to providing high-quality companionship and personal care services for seniors and special needs clients living either in private residences or care facilities. The advertised position is for an in-home caregiver for seniors. This role is designed for caring and compassionate individuals who are passionate about supporting older adults and those with special needs. Caregivers in this role will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and transferring. Additionally, caregivers will provide companionship, support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, errands, and transportation assistance to and from appointments. The position starts at $14.50 to $18.00 per hour and offers a supportive work environment, including 24/7 assistance and paid orientation and training. Senior caregivers benefit from shifts typically located within 10 miles of the office, which reduces travel time and provides convenience. Job Requirements
- Must be 40 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable car, possess a valid driver's license, valid auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Must be able to pass the AHCA Level 2 Background Check
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
- Must be fluent in English (bilingual is a plus)
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- CPR preferred
- HHA or CNA license preferred
