The role of Home Delivery Driver at Mom's Meals is integral to the company's mission of delivering nutritious meals to clients' homes promptly and safely. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and company protocols. Your duties will involve loading and unloading prepacked boxes of meals from designated cold storage facilities and ensuring that these meals are delivered accurately and efficiently to customers across assigned routes. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as you will frequently interact with clients, sometimes delivering meals directly inside their homes. You will also utilize smart phone technology and GPS routing to navigate delivery routes, record deliveries using the Mom's Meals delivery application, and communicate effectively with clients in case of any delivery issues.

The schedule for this role is a 5-day work week from Monday to Friday, offering a stable routine. Compensation includes an hourly pay of $21.50, with an additional opportunity to earn monthly bonuses. This role requires a candidate who is at least 18 years old, holds a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and can operate a smart phone proficiently. Physical stamina is necessary, as the job involves standing, walking for extended periods, and lifting up to 40 pounds. The driver must be comfortable working in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety and food sanitation protocols.

Mom's Meals also emphasizes safety and equipment maintenance, requiring drivers to inspect, clean, and report on vehicle and equipment condition regularly. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) lookup as part of the hiring process. Preferred candidates will have prior delivery driving experience, especially in customer-facing roles, along with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of on-time delivery and customer interaction.
