Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation with proof of automobile insurance
- Knowledge of physical and emotional needs of developmentally and/or physically challenged individuals
- Knowledge of proper personal hygiene practices
- Ability to perform physically demanding aspects of the job
- Ability to complete documentation electronically and on paper
- Ability to read, write and understand non-verbal gestures used by some clients
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan, organize and direct the care of clients
- Develop short- and long-term goals
- Supervise client care activities of direct support staff
- Monitor individual support plans and delivery of client care plans under the direction of the physician
- Determine staffing schedules and levels
- Prevent client abuse by adhering to policies and reporting requirements
- Complete administrative and clerical documentation
- Assure safe operation of all equipment in the house
- Plan and organize daily activities according to individual support plans
- Provide direct client care including transportation, household inventory maintenance, and menu planning
- Perform other duties as assigned
