Job Requirements
- Home Care Services Bureau registration
- Current TB test
- Must pass a physical clearance to work provided by company
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to drive clients to appointments, shopping, and errands
- Ability to lift and maneuver at least 50 pounds with proper training
- Flexibility in movement and positioning
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of caregiving experience
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Knowledge of care practices for elderly and disabled clients
- Familiarity with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and gait belts
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Assist clients with personal care, grooming, and daily activities
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
- Support with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a comfortable environment
- Include support for Dementia, bed-bound, and hospice clients
- Assist with mobility transfers using Hoyer lift or gait belt
