Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Active insurance in your name
- Access to reliable transportation
- Comfortable driving clients of all mobility levels
- Ability to assist clients in and out of vehicles
- Dedication to professional development including required training
- Compliance with state background screening requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Insurance and a safe reliable vehicle required
- No prior caregiving experience necessary
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Commitment to client safety and comfort
- Willingness to complete state-mandated training
Job Duties
- Help clients with light housekeeping including organizing laundry and basic cleaning
- Assist clients with personal activities such as dressing grooming and meal assistance
- Provide safe and timely transportation for clients to appointments errands grocery shopping and social outings
- Assist clients in and out of vehicles as needed
- Support clients in daily living activities to enhance their independence
- Maintain communication with the care coordination team regarding client needs and changes
- Adhere to all state-required training and organizational policies
