Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • twelve months of accumulated experience in a similar job classification or similar life experience
  • clean background checks
  • valid Driver's License and current auto insurance
  • CPR certified
  • pass pre-employment drug screen
  • must possess strong transferring skills and be able to work with limited mobility cases
  • ability to cook

Job Duties

  • Performs personal care activities including personal hygiene assistance such as bathing, shaving, grooming, and continence care
  • assists with ambulation and transferring safely
  • assists with eating and meal preparation
  • supports dressing needs
  • performs client-specific activities like brain fitness and dementia support, life enrichment activities, range of motion exercises assistance, disease-specific documentation and referring observations to supervisors, and transportation
  • performs homemaking duties including light vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms
