The Front Desk Supervisor position at Home2 Suites plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's front desk, reservations, and guest services departments. This management role involves supervising and coordinating the activities of front desk personnel, guaranteeing high standards of guest relations, and overseeing administrative responsibilities related to the front office functions. The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for managing the check-in and check-out processes, handling guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy, and training staff on the guest service guarantee to maintain consistent service quality. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience supervising front desk operations
  • Experience handling cash transactions and accounting procedures
  • Ability to operate computer software related to hotel management
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Flexible with work hours and shifts
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Fluency in English

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of front desk supervisor experience
  • Experience handling cash, accounting procedures and general administrative tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with an emphasis in hotel management, hospitality management or related fields
  • Knowledge of various computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets and hotel management systems
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as the hours for this management position vary
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Fluent in English

Job Duties

  • Check-in/check-out hotel guests
  • Process all payments according to hotel requirements
  • Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors
  • Prepare all necessary reports during each shift for the management team
  • Ensure all front desk staff know all components/features of the guest service guarantee and are trained to meet service standards
  • Assist in creating and distributing the team member schedule in a timely manner
  • Represent the hotel in a professional, knowledgeable and eloquent manner
