Job Requirements

  • Experience in opening hotel outlets or food and beverage concepts
  • executive chef experience in hotel or full-service restaurant environments
  • IHG/Holiday Inn brand experience strongly preferred
  • two-year college degree with at least three years of related experience or four-year college degree with a minimum of one year of related experience preferred
  • five years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field including supervisory experience
  • ability to handle stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity
  • must meet certification requirements including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid

Job Qualifications

  • Two-year college degree with at least three years of related experience or four-year college degree with a minimum of one year of related experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise and assist in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation across all outlets while maintaining safety expectations
  • lead, motivate, coach, and discipline kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation and service
  • manage food costs, budgets, and maximize cost/production ratios to optimize financial performance
  • maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen, work, and storage areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively
