Job Description

DRG is a well-established restaurant group known for its commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience through high-quality food and outstanding customer service. The group operates multiple dining venues that emphasize professional standards, culinary excellence, and a clean, safe, and engaging environment for guests and employees alike. DRG prides itself on fostering a team-based culture where every staff member contributes to achieving operational success, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth. With a focus on quality, safety, and integrity, DRG is dedicated to upholding its core pillars that drive every aspect of its restaurant operations, from food preparation to guest interaction.

The HOH Supervisor role at DRG is a pivotal position designed for experienced Back of House (BOH) team members who take on a leadership role without salaried management duties. This role entails acting as a working team lead, overseeing the HOH staff to ensure that operational standards and company policies are strictly followed. The HOH Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by assisting management with organizing and training the team, ensuring the proper handling of food and adherence to sanitation protocols. This supervisory position requires a strong understanding of DRG's recipes, portion control, and food preparation techniques to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

As a HOH Supervisor, you will be responsible for promoting DRG's core values and providing guests with an exceptional dining experience through your leadership and expertise. You will support management in meeting targeted budgets and operational goals by monitoring food quality, safety standards, and labor productivity. The position also involves a high level of responsibility in reporting any misconduct or policy violations to ensure a professional and ethical workplace.

In addition to technical culinary skills, the HOH Supervisor must demonstrate solid knowledge of company policies and procedures as well as local health and safety regulations. You will be tasked with completing shift checklists, overseeing the team's adherence to opening and closing protocols, and evaluating products to maintain DRG's standard of quality. This position requires someone who exemplifies ownership of DRG’s values and can foster a positive and productive work environment for the BOH team.

The employment type is typically full-time or part-time depending on the restaurant location, with compensation commensurate with experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BOH staff member looking to advance into a leadership role that offers the chance to impact restaurant operations directly while working alongside management. If you are dedicated to quality, safety, and team leadership, the HOH Supervisor position at DRG offers a rewarding career path within a respected restaurant group.
