Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- willingness to learn and follow Phil's BBQ cooking and plating standards
- ability to maintain cleanliness and follow safety regulations
- reliable and punctual
- strong work ethic and positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment strongly preferred
- knowledge of cooking techniques for meat and vegetables
- ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- strong attention to detail especially in plating and presentation
- good teamwork and communication skills
- ability to work under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- prepare and cook meats vegetables and other hot food products
- determine portion food products prior to cooking
- ensure final plate preparation aligns with Phil's way including plating and garnishing
- prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates
- participate in the tip pool
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation
- follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
