The role being offered is that of a Lobby Attendant, a key position within the housekeeping team at the InterContinental Seattle Bellevue. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends

- Ability to lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs
Job Duties
- Work as a team to accomplish the goal of lobby cleanliness
- Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen
- Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
- Ensure cleanliness of all public areas including bathrooms, lounge areas and hallways
- Help the room attendants with heavy lifting during super cleaning or spring cleaning of rooms
- Clean all public areas following department standard operating procedures
- Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations
- Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members
