Job Description

Allied Search Partners is a reputable healthcare staffing firm with over two decades of experience specializing in connecting healthcare facilities with highly qualified professionals. Our expertise spans a wide range of healthcare sectors including laboratories, dermatology and gastrointestinal (GI) office laboratories, medical and dental organizations, and offices across the nation. We pride ourselves on delivering both long-term and permanent placement solutions, as well as temporary and coverage staffing, tailored to meet the distinct needs of our clients. Our company philosophy centers on building long-lasting, trustworthy relationships with both healthcare providers and professionals, ensuring fair compensation, consistency, and respect for our workers' valuable time.

Unlike traditional staffing agencies that often rely on one-off shifts pushed to large candidate pools, Allied Search Partners takes a more personalized and relationship-driven approach. We offer comprehensive scheduling support 24/7, backed by an efficient temporary scheduling application that provides easy shift access for our healthcare professionals. This unique model allows us to effectively support our clients with reliable staffing solutions, whether for emergency coverage, temporary assignments, or permanent roles. Additionally, we specialize in permanent specialized recruitment, further enhancing our ability to serve both employers and job seekers with precision and care.

We are currently seeking a Temporary Histotechnologist to join our team in Plano, TX. This temporary assignment lasts between 4 to 8 weeks with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM, starting as soon as possible. The role is W2 employment with taxes handled by Allied Search Partners, offering full liability and workers compensation coverage. Eligible temporary employees also have access to a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance, health savings accounts, prescription plans, life and disability coverage, commuter benefits, and more.

As a Temporary Histotechnologist, you will be responsible for performing daily routine and highly specialized histology techniques and procedures. Your core duties include preparing histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination by pathologists, staining tissue specimens to highlight cellular details, cutting tissue sections using microtomes, mounting specimens onto glass slides, typing gross dictation, performing special stains, maintaining laboratory equipment, and managing specimen volume fluctuating around 200+ per day shared among multiple histotechnologists. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and is proficient with computer systems and applications related to histology laboratory work.

By joining Allied Search Partners, you become part of a team committed to excellence in healthcare staffing, supporting both healthcare workers and facilities with dedication and respect. We provide a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and consistency in assignments, ensuring that your skills are utilized effectively in a collaborative and rewarding setting.
