Job Requirements
- Reliable, engaging, and proactive
- Ready to play games, read stories, get crafty, and embark on imaginative quests
- Provide warm companionship to seniors and assist with light tasks
- Minimum of 2 years combined experience in caregiving roles
- Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with availability between 7 am and 7 pm or 8 am and 8 pm
- Age 18 or older
- Reliable transportation mandatory by car or public transit
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of combined experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, senior care, or similar roles
- Ability to engage positively and proactively with children and seniors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different caregiving environments and tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Reliable transportation by car or public transit
Job Duties
- Provide engaging childcare including playing games, reading stories, and creative activities
- Offer supportive senior care including companionship, conversation, and assisting with light tasks
- Attend appointments and outings with seniors as a reliable companion
- Manage schedule proactively through My Jovie App to match availability with gigs
- Maintain reliable transportation to commute to various client locations
- Communicate effectively with families and Jovie Boston team members
- Uphold caregiving standards with compassion, reliability, and professionalism
