Job Description

Jovie BOSTON is a dynamic and compassionate caregiving company committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and seniors across Boston and its surrounding suburbs, including Rhode Island and New Hampshire. As a proud franchise of the Jovie family, Jovie BOSTON stands out as a beacon of support and joy, striving to bring smiles, warmth, and assistance to families and seniors with professionalism and genuine care. We specialize in providing reliable, high-quality childcare and senior care services, operated by a team of dedicated caregivers who are not just employees but everyday heroes bringing energy, fun, and compassion to our community.

This opportunity is suited for those who want flexibility in their work schedule without compromising on meaningful engagement in caregiving. Jovie BOSTON values diversity in its team and offers both full-time and part-time positions, catering to individuals looking for a career as well as those seeking supplementary income. The role is designed around the concept of personalized scheduling, facilitated by our innovative My Jovie App, which allows caregivers to manage their availability and select gigs that fit their lifestyles seamlessly. With a competitive starting pay of $20.00 per hour and the chance to earn overtime at time and a half for hours worked beyond 40 per week, the position offers not only financial reward but also professional growth in a supportive and fun environment.

In the caregiver role at Jovie BOSTON, you will engage deeply in nurturing relationships, be it with energetic kids or cherished seniors. For childcare professionals, this means transforming everyday moments into exciting adventures filled with games, reading, crafts, and creativity. For those providing senior care, the role extends to offering heartfelt companionship, helping with light tasks such as tidying or preparing refreshments, and accompanying seniors to appointments and outings. Jovie BOSTON champions a culture of reliability, engagement, and proactive care, ensuring that every caregiver is equipped and supported to make a tangible difference.

Joining Jovie BOSTON means becoming part of a vibrant community that values teamwork and connection. Our online platforms and community gatherings ensure that caregivers are never isolated but always part of a cohesive network ready to support each other. Beyond the flexible hours and financial benefits, Jovie offers the stability of W2 employment, which includes accrued sick time, payroll management, tax handling, and workers' compensation coverage. This combination of independence and security makes Jovie BOSTON an ideal employer for those seeking meaningful, flexible, and well-supported caregiving roles.
