Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a minimum of 2 years combined experience in related caregiving roles
- Commit to availability of at least 20 hours per week Monday through Friday
- Possess reliable transportation via car or public transit
- Be reliable, engaging, and proactive
- Ready to participate in interactive caregiving activities
- Able to provide companionship and light assistance to seniors
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of combined experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, senior care, or related roles
- Ability to engage children with creative and fun activities
- Compassionate and patient demeanor suitable for senior care
- Reliable and proactive with strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including availability between 7 am - 7 pm or 8 am - 8 pm Monday through Friday
- Must be 18 years or older
- Familiarity with public or private transportation within the Boston area
Job Duties
- Provide compassionate care and companionship to children and seniors
- Engage in interactive and imaginative activities such as games, reading, and crafts
- Assist seniors with light household tasks and accompany them to outings or appointments
- Utilize the My Jovie App to manage schedule and communicate availability
- Maintain reliable transportation to travel within the service area
- Foster a supportive, positive environment for clients and families
- Participate in community gatherings and team support activities
