The role currently open at Maaribu Cafe & Gifts is for a Food & Beverage Manager. This position is vital to the smooth and successful operation of both the cafe and bakery, requiring a hands-on leader with extensive experience in coffee shop or bakery management. Job Requirements
- 5+ years of food and beverage management experience preferably in coffee shops independent bakeries or specialty coffee settings
- Proven skills in inventory management ordering scheduling P and L responsibility and team supervision
- Demonstrated success in building wholesale or B2B accounts and supporting business growth
- 2 years baking experience 1 year barista experience
- Interest in gluten-free baking quality ingredients specialty coffee and customer service
- Proficiency with POS systems Google Suite and financial reporting
- Valid manager food safety certificate and TBAC certification
- Open availability including early mornings weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Oversee daily cafe and bakery operations including food preparation service standards and quality control with emphasis on gluten-free products
- Manage inventory purchasing vendor relationships and cost controls to support profitability and product quality
- Handle team scheduling training and performance management for baristas bakers and front-of-house staff
- Identify and develop wholesale accounts including local businesses events and retailers to expand gluten-free product distribution
- Develop and introduce new menu items and seasonal offerings
- Plan and manage promotional events
- Establish and track sales goals and manage the cafe and bakery budget
- Provide quarterly costing reports for cafe and bakery items to the Executive Team
- Participate in strategic growth planning
- Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory standards while maintaining brand service standards
