Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Consent to a Level 2 Fingerprint Background Check
- CPR, First Aid and Water Safety certifications
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, stand or walk up to 4 hours
- Ability to keep up with children
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- First aid certification preferred
- Water safety certification preferred
- Experience working with children who have developmental disabilities is highly valued
Job Duties
- Providing for the physical, emotional, social, and recreational needs of the children and accompanying and engaging children in activities
- Ensuring all medical needs of each child are met as directed by medical personnel
- Preparing or arranging daily meals and snacks and assisting with feeding, as directed
- Ensuring proper hygiene routines
- Attending staff meetings and in-service training, as required
